Below is a listing of State and National Continuing Education acceptances and approvals for the home study courses offered on this web site. Click on your state below to view a brief explanation of your state's Continuing Education Licensure Renewal requirements. This listing is updated periodically. Psychologist: The Healthcare Training Institute is approved by the American Psychological Association, APA to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Healthcare Training Institute maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
Social Work: The Healthcare Training Institute (HTI), provider #1073, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. HTI maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: 08/13/2014 – 08/13/2017. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval. Social workers participating in these courses will receive the # and type of credits listed on the individual course description pages.
Counselor & Marriage and Family Therapist: These Courses meet the requirements for an acceptable Program as defined by the Boards listed below due to our National Board for Certified Counselors NBCC, #6102, American Psychological Association APA, #1537 and Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB, #1073) provider status or individual state approval provider status. Healthcare Training Institute has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6102. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Healthcare Training Institute is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
